Dan Bielski was born in 1956 in Israel to Holocaust survivors. His parents fled Germany to Bolivia in1940 and arrived in Israel in 1953.
He holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Tel Aviv University, and a PhD in Communication from the State University of Wisconsin. Mr. Bielski is currently completing the Executive Program at Kellogg Business School at Northwestern University.
Mr Bielski is senior News Editor and the Director of the Newsroom at the Israeli National Radio. He also serves as an economic reporter for Israeli Radio. He was previously the Chief News Editor of the Israeli daily newspaper, Maariv.
Between 1999 – 2001 Mr. Bielski served as a Jewish Agency emissary in the Midwest.
A resident of Kfar Saba, he currently chairs the Friends of the Kfar Saba Absorption Center.
Mr. Bielski also serves on the Board of the Friends of the Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba. He was the co-chair and founder of Partnership 2000 a joint project run by Kfar-Saba and the Jewish community of Columbus Ohio, and is currently a member of the steering committee.
